This large pothole on the Bass Highway was causing headaches for motorists on Friday morning.

POTHOLES are emerging all over the region’s road, threatening the lives of drivers and their passengers. A truck suddenly swerved around a massive pothole near Nortons Road, Leongatha South this morning, narrowly missing a stream of oncoming traffic. Slipping away: Foster Mirboo Road can’t be classed as a road anymore.

FOSTER Mirboo Road will be out of order for the next six months after a landslide yesterday (Wednesday). Almost the entire road fell away due to heavy rain over the past few days.
