Water tempts sailors

Setting out: Teak Grogan and Lachlan Cowley advance their sailing skills at Inverloch.

BUDDING sailors have been taking to the waters of Anderson Inlet at Inverloch for a learn to sail program.

The week-long event hosted by the South Gippsland Yacht Club teaches children, teenagers and adults the basics of sailing, from tying knots to steering boats.

The course is offered by instructors from The Boat Shed, affiliated with Yachting Victoria and based at Albert Park Lake in Melbourne.
