Information evening well supported

A LARGE turnout of prospective cast and crew turned out on Sunday evening to hear about upcoming Leongatha Lyric Theatre show Gypsy.
Lyric president Glenda Smith, who introduced the speakers, was delighted with the turnout.
Those attending included a number of current and new faces to the theatre scene, with auditions to be held this Wednesday and Thursday night.
Director Colin Mitchell gave an outline of the show and a description of roles before people registered their interest in auditions.
Musical director Carmel Slater also spoke about music and requirements for roles. Bron Kalos, the choreographer, spoke about the dance requirements.
