Lightning hits turbine

A TURBINE at the Wonthaggi wind farm was reportedly hit by lightning yesterday (Wednesday).

A blade was damaged.

Wind farm critic Andrew Chapman called for a safety audit to be undertaken of the wind farm, built in 2005-06.
