Music at Mossvale
MOSSVALE Park came alive on Sunday, when the annual Music for the People concert returned to the Berrys Creek venue.
The event is organised by a dedicated band of volunteers, and funded and supported by the South Gippsland Shire Council.
The South Gippsland Brass Band, the Wonthaggi Citizens Band, the South Gippsland Concert Band and the Victorian Concert Orchestra all performed on the day, and entertained some 500 people.
This year was the 47th consecutive year the Victorian Concert Orchestra has appeared at Mossvale Park, with compliments of the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust.
All of the other performers donated their services free of charge to the community.
