On your marks, get set, go

LEONGATHA Little Athletics took off with a bang on Saturday with the Come and Try and Bring a Friend Day.
On a perfect day, more than 150 children, parents/guardians and siblings came to the velodrome to experience Little Athletics first hand.
From the skills development On Track program for 5 to 7 year olds to the full competition program for 7 to 16 years olds it was an action packed day.
It was fantastic to see the smiles on everyone’s faces and the joy as they crossed the finish line, did their jumps or achieved a perfect throw.
If you would like to be a part of Little Athletics we run an 18 week program at 9.15am every Saturday morning between now and Christmas and then from the end of January until March.
