Shopping eases poverty

THE fourth Fairer World Bazaar was held on Saturday at the Leongatha Uniting Church hall to help fight poverty and hardship.
The Anti Poverty Week event was an alternative gift fair with charity stalls selling handcrafts from Asia and Africa, supporting projects that provide hope and dignity to many who otherwise have none.
Nearly 20 charities and aid organisations were represented at the fair, aimed at raising money for people who need it most.
