Girls play great footy

FEMALE students from Wonthaggi, Mirboo North, Leongatha and Korumburra secondary colleges got together last Wednesday for a round robin football competition.

Held at the Leongatha velodrome, the competition was fierce and the girls had no trouble showing their mettle on the field.

Up high: from left, Emma Hassett, Bianca Castello, Mackenzie Kerr and Angela Frazzetto from Mirboo North Secondary College fought hard, but eventually went down to Wonthaggi.
