Hit and run

Leongatha police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Thursday night at around 6.30pm in front of the pizza shop in Bair Street, Leongatha.
A man driving a white Holden Commodore allegedly sped around the roundabout, lost control and plowed into two unparked cars.
A lady who had been walking between the two parked cars initially became pinned. She was freed by passersby and the pizza shop owners and comforted before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the car ran from the vehicle and was pursued by two people but got away.
Police are continuing inquiries.
