Ken Smith to stand down at election
BASS MLA Ken Smith will not re-contest the seat of Bass at the November state election.
Mr Smith said he made his decision after more than 30 years of parliamentary representation.
“It has been an honour and privilege to represent and serve firstly the people of South East Province and for the last 11 years as the member for Bass,” he said.
“I wish to thank all the members of the community for their friendship and support throughout the years.”
