Leongatha Primary celebrates 125 years
LEONGATHA Primary School students stepped back in time to celebrate the school’s 125th anniversary.
They children were encouraged to dress up in old fashioned uniforms on Friday.
The classrooms were set up to replicate a school from the past, with desks in rows and boys on one side and girls on the other.
After lunch, students enjoyed long lost games such as tic tac toe and rotated to different activities during the afternoon.
A display of photos depicting the school’s history was erected in the auditorium.
Matching uniforms: Lily, Kaya, Tahlia, Hannah and Caitlin wore black, grey and white to look the part at Leongatha Primary School on Friday.
