Plane crash fatal
Fatal: CFA, police and ambulance officers all attended the scene of the plane crash this morning.
A MAN has died after a crop duster crashed and burst into flames in Hallston this morning (Tuesday).
Police said the light plane crashed near Denhams Road, about 20 kilometres north-east of Leongatha, just after 9.30am, killing the pilot.
Police said that it appeared the plane caught fire on impact, making identification of the victim and the type and registration of the aircraft difficult.
It is believed that the pilot was the sole occupant.
