It was built by the Italian Navy and was sunk in a famous duel with the Australian cruiser Sydney in 1940.<br \/> Wonthaggi\u2019s Russell Suckling spoke about some of his creations.<br \/> \u201cI was a carpenter by trade previously and I\u2019ve built about seven boats,\u201d he said.<br \/> \u201cOne of displays here took about eight months to build.
