Dayn celebrates career best

LEONGATHA’S Dayn Bentvelzen and his team attended the 2016/17 Victorian Wingless Sprintcar presentation night in Geelong, following the close of the season.
Dayn picked up three trophies for the night. It was a career best season for him.
He was second in the Victorian State Series (out of 89 cars on the points list), third in the Victorian Eastern Series (Oout of 40 cars on the points list) and second in the Victorian overall state aggregate (state series, eastern series and club races combined).
The team also came home with second in the Avalon Speedway Track Championship.
“I couldn’t have accomplished these achievements this season without Adrian Densley and his family for the support and giving me the opportunity to drive for them, Ando and Greg for all their hard work crewing, my wife, and my parents and their partners for their support over the years, and also my great local sponsors,” Dayn said.

State series winners: Leongatha’s Dayn Bentvelzen came in second.
